Did you know that CTREX Pro Subscribers can “bookmark” reviews for future reference?

While logged in, click on the star next to any title. This will save the review to your profile page. You can view your profile by selecting the icon with your username in the top-right.

Bookmarking has been available for a while now, but now you can create your own folders to organize your bookmarks into as many lists as you want. You can even print these lists or export their data.

Need to find a handful of titles on a certain topic? Create a new folder and move your bookmarks to it. The next time you need to compile a list, your old bookmarks will remain separate. Using this new tool, you can use CTREX to manage your research more flexibly.

Check it out, and let us know what you think! We're always looking for ways to improve the CTREX experience.

Teaches: sorting, classification, logic, 3D shapes
This clean, easy-to-use collection of 3D puzzles start easy and progressively get harder. We especially liked how you can rotate the shapes with a swipe to see how they look from different angles. In addition, each puzzle challenge becomes part of a larger object, giving the classification task context and meaning. Record keeping lets you see what your child has done, and you can quickly jump between puzzles. This app would work well in a preschool or library setting. Content includes four game modes and 200 levels. The first levels are free. Later levels are available as an IAP.

This app comes from Germany, from the makers of “Tiny Pirates.”

A couple of things to note about this app:
It is actually called Puzzle Shapes: Toddler's App in the App Store.
In a library or school with managed devices, the full version of this app may be tricky to acquire because it is an IAP and not all users have the ability to make those purchases. And unfortunately there is no option to buy the full version from the get go in the App Store.
For anyone using the app, be aware that an option to buy the full version pops up after each completed level (there are 4 free puzzles). This can be frustrating for kids using the free version at home or in the library setting when IAPs are not a possibility. I would not recommend the free version in a classroom or library setting because of this.
I do appreciate that matching includes shapes, color shades, and number of dots on the shape in the free levels for variation. (Some kids may have trouble distinguishing between colors.) For young players, the matching shape can be dragged close to be a match without having to be perfectly aligned.
