Did you know that CTREX Pro Subscribers can “bookmark” reviews for future reference?

While logged in, click on the star next to any title. This will save the review to your profile page. You can view your profile by selecting the icon with your username in the top-right.

Bookmarking has been available for a while now, but now you can create your own folders to organize your bookmarks into as many lists as you want. You can even print these lists or export their data.

Need to find a handful of titles on a certain topic? Create a new folder and move your bookmarks to it. The next time you need to compile a list, your old bookmarks will remain separate. Using this new tool, you can use CTREX to manage your research more flexibly.

Check it out, and let us know what you think! We're always looking for ways to improve the CTREX experience.

Note that Edoki was formerly called Les Trois Elles Interactive.

Eight beautifully illustrated, short games combine cut paper images with Christmas and outer space themes. Two of the activities (Take Off! and Zleepy) use your iOS microphone, challenging you to control the volume of your voice (or other noisemaker) to succeed at getting a rocket to take off, or putting a bear to sleep.

Other games challenge you with simple timing or fine motor challenges. Weaknesses are minor, but worth noting. You don't know how long some of the challenges are (there is no progress indicator) and the star/scoring mechanism lacks logic. Note also that the two microphone activities require a quiet space in order to work. A noisy car or a social space such as a classroom or library could create a frustrating situation.

All in all, this is an excellent, quality, highly aesthetic addition to your child's app library. The art is by Chloe Mazlo.
