Did you know that CTREX Pro Subscribers can “bookmark” reviews for future reference? While logged in, click on the star next to any title. This will save the review to your profile page. You can view your profile by selecting the icon with your username in the top-right. Bookmarking has been available for a while now, but now you can create your own folders to organize your bookmarks into as many lists as you want. You can even print these lists or export their data. Need to find a handful of titles on a certain topic? Create a new folder and move your bookmarks to it. The next time you need to compile a list, your old bookmarks will remain separate. Using this new tool, you can use CTREX to manage your research more flexibly.

This is a one-player number line puzzle game with elements of Frogger, Logical Journey of the Zoombinis, and an Angry Birds leveling system. Your job is to save Snortles -- little creatures -- by making a path for them through a maze of numbered number bubbles. At times you can make new numbers by dragging two bubbles together. The game starts with counting by 1s and 2s and gets harder (by 7s, 8s and 9s). A timed element is introduced with fuses and stompers who take away points and send the Snortles back to the start. These timed features can be turned off in the parent's menu. There are some repetitive "snort" sounds that can get annoying (they're not bad, but a bit too frequent). This is a matter of taste. Progress for one player is saved automatically. The more Snortles you save, and the more math you do, the more challenging the game will become. From the developer: * Updated on 8/24* The latest version of Jump Numbers (1.2) adds options to customize skills practice. Now you can designate the numbers you count by, or choose random starting numbers for a brain-busting math challenge that goes way beyond traditional skip counting. The update is a direct response to user feedback - people love the adaptive engine, but some teachers really want more fine-grained control.
